Located on the West Coast, Juvo is a leading provider of behavioral health services for individuals with autism and other special needs, their families and their surrounding community. "Juvo" is Latin for help, support and serve perfect words to describe who we are and what we do.

As part of our corporate strategic plan, we are looking to expand our company and services across the country. Our newly created, Executive Director position will report directly to the CEO and will focus on the startup efforts and day to day operations of the new Chicago area location. Primary duties will relate to policy/procedure and program development and delivery, local relationship management and revenue generation with a high priority on staff recruitment, training and development.

  • Manage the development of new company clinical procedures and manuals as discussed with and approved by executive team
  • Recruit, train and develop management team and serve as a partner in providing leadership, support, materials, reports and assistance in achieving organizational goals as evidenced by measurable outcomes
  • Supervise and provide ongoing clinical support to clients, staff and their teams to ensure the highest of quality services are being provided
  • Build new, and nurture existing relationships with clients and funding sources while exploring additional opportunities for diverse revenue sources
  • Work closely with executive team to develop the startup timeline and necessary deliverable; delegate responsibilities as appropriate and oversee outcomes
  • Case management to include scheduling and monitoring utilization of all service levels as well taking corrective action as needed
  • Develop and manage budgets, maintain fiscal records and submit financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop and delegate appropriate marketing initiatives related to new business, contracts and other funding sources
  • Assist in making operational decisions regarding the need to expand to surrounding communities
  • Meet with executive team regularly to report on and assess current and forecasted clinical operations and needs
  • Disseminate information as needed to staff and ensure all staff are adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Applicable software management and utilization including systems related to HR/Payroll, billing/finance and clinical care
  • Coordinates and supervises special assignments as delegated by CEO

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Psychologist/MFT, BCBA preferred
  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Minimum five years of experience and advanced training in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Minimum five years of experience in supervising multiple levels of staff, developing and implementing staff training, ability to inspire, motivate, elevate and mentor individuals
  • Proven track record of successful relationship management including family systems, funding sources, community partners and referral sources
  • Excellent time management skills, experience managing caseload and special projects, and display strong delegation skills, extensive problem solving and independence in contract development and program development
